About Linno
Picture this: You’re juggling work deadlines, a love life that’s more question mark than full stop, Oh, and that side hustle you’ve been “about to start” since last January. Sound familiar?
Hi, I’m Linno, and I’ve been right where you are.
I am a tech pro turned digital entrepreneur, life coach and the author of Self-Control: Who’s Running the Show?.
I help people like you—smart and driven but maybe a tad stuck—grab the reins and build a life of purpose, freedom, and a bit of joy.
All this mumbo jumbo simply means I understand what makes people tick, what causes the common problems we have to deal with while adulting, and—most importantly—how to fix these issues quickly and easily. No fluff, no faff—just real, workable change.
Think of me as your personal life-hacker, minus the dodgy podcast intro ;)
About me
Hey friend,
I’m Linno—a tech professional turned entrepreneur, life coach, podcaster and author. My book, “The Mindful Morning Method,” is a transformative guide that helps you build healthy habits and master your five energies: spiritual, mental, physical, emotional, and business.
This page is all about my journey. I hope you find it inspiring and interesting. 🙂
Me, in a Nutshell—Minus the Boring Bits
I grew up on the windswept Cape Verde’s sunny shores, plotting my escape from the island life like a budget James Bond. That itch took me to Portugal for a Communication and Journalism degree.
Since then, I’ve explored 20 countries and 108 cities and counting, clocked over 1500 hours of meditation, and took a challenge to devour 36 books in a single year—because, hey, settling for ordinary never sat right.
I’ve called four places home—Cape Verde, Portugal, Brazil, and now the UK—each one showing me how to turn a muddle into something meaningful.
Here’s a twist: My transformation led me to leave a ‘comfy’ tech job after a single Cape Verde sunrise whispered, “There’s more to life than this.” I’m now dedicated to coaching and helping others find their ‘more’—no grand exit required unless you’re feeling theatrical.
From Burnout to Breaking Through
London, 2018: Life looked good on paper—solid job, ticking boxes—but my relationship was stuck on repeat—like a playlist you can’t skip.
However, I wasn’t buying “That’s just how it is.”
So, I dived into psychology and self-development, took responsibility for every aspect of my life, started building habits that didn’t vanish at the first hurdle, and invested in coaching from the likes of Les Brown (who told me to speak from the heart) and experts from the Bob Proctor and Sandy Gallagher Institute just to name a few.
I went from snoozing till 10 a.m. to braving 5 a.m. gym sessions in November gloom—proof you can rewrite your script.
Now, I coach others to do the same.
Real Stories, Real Wins
Shashank, a London business owner, thought early mornings were for the birds—until I showed him how they cut stress, sharpened focus, and sorted his sleep.
Sadaf, a lawyer, was stuck on “What do I even want?”—I helped her figure it out, and she couldn’t hide her gratitude.
Tolu from Lagos wasn’t sold on coaching till our first chat, which felt like “a cool balm.” Two sessions in, she’s chasing dreams she’d shelved.
I’ve guided many people to boost clarity by 30% at least, and they still say I’m a decent company over a cuppa.
The Book That Changed Everything
Einstein’s line about insanity
doing the same thing and expecting different
Hit me during a breakup that nearly broke me.
Instead of wallowing, I wrote Self-Control: Who’s Running the Show?—a practical guide to fix your mind’s wonky bits.
-
- Procrastination?
-
- Dating flops?
That “Is this it?” feeling?
It’s a reset button for your head; no faff required.

It Started With Me—Now It’s Your Turn
I was my first project—testing habits, facing doubts, and seeing what stuck (like when I tried for a six-pack in six months and ended up with a sore back instead).
The transformation was undeniable, and soon others noticed.
When friends, then clients, noticed the shift, I saw how we all wrestle with modern life—work stress, swiping through duds, settling for “fine.”
That’s why I created The Prosperity Mindset Tools—to help you ditch procrastination, spark confidence, and turn “someday” into today.
Seeing you thrive? That’s the good stuff.
Are You Frustrated with Dating Apps
My Personal Journey:
I’ll be honest—I used not to understand why people use dating apps. I thought they were for people who didn’t know how to talk to people in real life. Paying to talk to strangers?
No, thanks.
Over the years, I created profiles on POF, Tinder, OkCupid, Bumble, etc. I got frustrated and deleted them after a few days. My problem? I had no idea how to actually use online dating.
Even though I could meet people in real life, I was clueless about how to navigate dating apps.
Honestly, I didn’t care much because I was dating IRL; however, I didn’t like the feeling of having tried something and not succeeding at it. I couldn’t understand why many women would match me, and then nothing happened.
Finally, I decided to crack the code.
I studied attraction, tested different approaches, and treated online dating as a skill.

The Result?
✅ In just 10 months, I matched with nearly 400 people on Hinge only(without paying a single pound).
✅ I went on more dates than ever before.
✅ I learned precisely what works and what doesn’t.
This may sound easier than it is, but it didn’t come without initial frustration, trial and error, and training myself to take it as a learning process. People I coached often asked me about it, and it didn’t feel right not knowing precisely what I was talking about, so I had to put myself to the test.
One of the things I hear is, hey, you’re good-looking, so it’s easy for you.
Does Looks matter online? Yes, quite a bit. But that is just the starting point. It’s more about creating an attractive profile and then knowing how to text and how to date than the looks. If the looks were the main thing, I wouldn’t have had issues before.
Coaching and Mentoring
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with some incredible mentors and coaches, including top consultants from the Bob Proctor and Sandy Gallagher Institute.
Learning from inspirational figures like Les Brown has not only helped me improve myself but has also equipped me with the tools to guide others on their own journeys.
One memorable lesson from Les was to always ‘speak from the heart’—this advice changed how I connected with others and helped me become a more authentic coach. These experiences taught me the value of authenticity, honesty, and practicality in coaching.
Now, I help individuals break free from self-sabotaging habits, build confidence, and achieve their dreams.
My coaching covers developing an abundance mindset, setting goals, building positive habits, and cultivating leadership.
The Creation of Self-Control: Who’s Running the Show?
As Albert Einstein famously said,
‘Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.’
This quote resonated with me during a difficult time in my life when I was going through a challenging breakup that led me to embark on a journey of profound self-discovery. This experience inspired me to write my book, Self-Control: Who’s Running the Show? where I share a unique system of habits and practices.
Unlike any other, this method focuses on reprogramming the mind with positive habits and building a fulfilling life. Whether you’re struggling with procrastination, feeling stuck, or just want to live more intentionally, the themes in this book will help you take control and create positive changes.

It started with me
My passion for coaching didn’t begin with the intention to coach others.
My coaching journey began with myself—I was my first client. I experienced firsthand the power of transformation, and soon, others began to notice.
As I helped friends and clients from diverse backgrounds, I realised how every day our struggles are. Seeing talented people settle for less was painful because they didn’t believe they could bring out their best.
By helping them believe in their potential, I watched them transform their careers, relationships, and lives.
That’s the power of coaching—to inspire and empower you to reach your full potential
The Myths
From Snoozer to Success
In 2016, I was the furthest thing from a morning person. I’d stay in bed most weekends until 10 a.m. unless work forced me up. I used every excuse in the book: “I’m too tired,” “It’s too hard,” or “That’s just not who I am.”
But deep down, I knew I wanted more out of life. So, I challenged one of the biggest myths: that change wasn’t possible for someone like me. I’m here to tell you it is possible. You can break free from the limitations you’ve set for yourself. I understand the struggle, the feeling of being stuck in a cycle of excuses and the desire for more out of life.
I set a bold goal: wake up at 5 a.m. and hit the gym, even on a cold, dark November morning in London. Was it easy? Absolutely not. I felt out of place sometimes, and on freezing and dark mornings, I was tempted to quit. But one thing kept me going: a friend who was just as determined.
Together, we built kind of a simple system of accountability that kept us going for about a year. This is the power of community, the support and encouragement that can make even the most daunting goals possible.

Busting The Myths
That experience taught me a powerful lesson: most obstacles we face aren’t real; they are just mind myths. So let’s bust them right now, shall we?
- 1
Change happens overnight: It doesn’t. Transformation is about tiny, consistent steps.
- 2You need to hit rock bottom: You don’t. While this may be true for many people, change starts the moment you decide to act.
- 3I was born this way. Neuroscience proves that you can rewire your habits and mindset, and I am proof of this.
- 4Motivation is key: I love Motivation, but it fades. Discipline and systems keep you moving forward.
- 5Willpower is enough: It’s not. You need routines, structure, and a supportive environment.
- 6Mistakes mean failure: Progress isn’t linear. Slipping up is part of growth.
- 7You need all the answers first: Clarity comes from action, not overthinking. This is huge.
- 8Change is a solo journey: It’s not. The right community makes success far more attainable.
- 9Success means perfection: It doesn’t. Success is about resilience, consistency, and effort. Every book I read on the topic tells you this.
- 10The end goal is happiness: True growth is about meaning, not constant euphoria.
- 11Bonus Myth: I’m not talented enough. Let me tell you something. Talent is overrated. Countless gifted people are living in misery. Success comes from commitment and learning as you go.
That’s why I created the Bullet-Proof Morning Program—to help people like you bust these myths, take control of their mornings, and build habits that lead to lasting success.
If you’ve ever told yourself that change is impossible, let me show you it’s not. Together, we can rewrite your story and make those mornings (and your life) unstoppable.
Helping you transform your life
After seeing the positive impact I could make, I founded The Prosperity Mindset Tools, a community dedicated to helping people transform their lives. Through this community, I share tools to help individuals build positive habits, discover their true desires, and increase their self-confidence.
No matter what challenges you face—whether it’s confusion about what you want, needing accountability, or navigating complicated relationships—our programs can help you develop the skills you need to succeed. Building a great and fulfilling life starts with fostering a greater love for yourself.
I teach practical skills such as goal setting, overcoming procrastination, journaling, meditation, confidence, and other essential life skills to help you achieve your goals and find happiness in every aspect of your life.
Whatever phase you’re in, I’m here for you every step of the way.
If you want to know more about how I got started, there’s a whole page dedicated to my journey. 🙂

I would like to thank you, Linno, for this experience of the 30-day Bulletproof morning challenge! I learned so much from you! And it was a great and important experience for me.
Linno’s practical insights have helped me develop new habits and take larger steps in my personal growth journey. With this dedicated time for reflection and guidance, I’ve noticed improvements in my overall well-being and outlook since joining.
I think one thing you do very well is helping people to figure out what they actually want.I think you did that for me and I think that is a key thing for a lot of us. What do we really want from life?
